Eine Woche Auszeit sind vorbei und ich  sehr entspannt.

Ich hatte phantastische Tauchgänge und bin auch etwas rumgekommen auf der Insel. Die Beiträge dazu habe ich alle hochgeladen, mehr kommt nicht.  😉

Besonders waren natürlich die Tauchplätze, da ich sie zum einen nicht kannte und zum anderen wir die immer für uns alleine hatten. Die Organisation war anfangs nicht ganz so leicht wie gedacht, aber dank ein paar netter Tauchschulen vor Ort ging es dann ja doch noch. Darüber hatte ich ja schon berichtet. Nächstes Mal wird es dadurch schneller und besser ablaufen, da die Kontakte jetzt geknüpft sind.

Ein weiterer Besuch ist eigentlich schon geplant und dann werden noch ein paar andere Tauchspots aufgesucht. Es könnte spannend werden.

In Deutschland wartet auf mich jetzt ein bisschen Alltagstrott, bis es auf ins nächste Abenteuer geht. Dazu demnächst mehr.

Der Transfer zum Flughafen ist auf Menorca so simpel und relativ günstig. Vor allem sind die Fahrer sehr nett und super pünktlich. Der Check-in am Flughafen Menorca ist unproblematisch, eine Lektion musste ich allerdings lernen: das Wasser im Flughafen ist leider nicht trinkbar, es ist extrem stark gechlort. Das in Zürich hingegen ist super lecker. Merken fürs nächste Mal.

Zwischendurch sitze ich noch gute 11 Stunden in Zürich auf den Anschluss Flug wartend. Deswegen auch dieser Post. Hab ich schonmal erwähnt,das der Flughafen in Hamburg die miesesten Verbindungen überhaupt hat?

Der Flughafen in Zürich ist neben dem Trinkwasser grundsätzlich zu empfehlen, gute Anschlussflüge und einfacher Internet Zugang. Man muss dafür nur zu einer „Internet Box“ gehen, sein Ticket scannen und bekommt dafür einen Bon ausgedruckt, wo der Zugangscode steht. Den muss man dann eingeben und Zack hat man sehr guten Internet Empfang.

Die Toiletten sind sauber und ansonsten gibt’s natürlich den ganzen unnötigen Flughafen Chichi. Jede Menge Luxus Läden, aber auch gute Gastro. Es gibt auch auch Snack Automaten.

Aber auch die großzügigen Wartebereiche mit Lademöglichkeiten sind ausreichend vorhanden. Auch das kann immer noch nicht jeder Airport.

Aber selbst die lange Wartezeit kann meine gute Laune nicht verderben. Ich habe genügend zu essen und wieder was zu trinken und war ausgeschlafen, da ich im Bus und im Flugzeug geschlafen habe. Die Zeit vergeht momentan dank etlicher Hörbücher relativ schnell und schon bald bin ich wieder im nächsten Flugzeug Richtung Hamburg.

Ich freue mich trotzdem auf mein eigenes Bett.

Ich habe noch was gelernt: nach 4 Stunden ist freies WLAN Geschichte, danach muss man zahlen.

A week off is over and I am very relaxed.

I had some fantastic dives and also got around the island a bit. I’ve uploaded all the posts about it, but that’s all there is.  😉

The dive sites were particularly special, as I didn’t know them and we always had them to ourselves. The organization wasn’t as easy as we had thought at first, but thanks to a few nice dive schools on site, it all worked out in the end. I already reported on that. Next time, it will be quicker and better, as we now have the contacts.

Another visit is already planned, and then we will visit a few other diving spots. It could be exciting.

Back in Germany, I’ve got a bit of everyday life to deal with before I head off on my next adventure. More on that soon.

Transfers to the airport are simple and relatively inexpensive in Menorca. Above all, the drivers are very friendly and extremely punctual. Check-in at Menorca Airport is hassle-free, but I did learn one lesson: unfortunately, the water at the airport is not drinkable as it is heavily chlorinated. The water in Zurich, on the other hand, is delicious. I’ll remember that for next time.

I’m currently sitting in Zurich waiting for my connecting flight for a good 11 hours. That’s why I’m writing this post. Have I mentioned before that Hamburg Airport has the worst connections ever?

The airport in Zurich is generally recommended, with drinking water, good connecting flights, and easy internet access. All you have to do is go to an „Internet Box,“ scan your ticket, and you will receive a printed receipt with the access code. Enter the code and you will have excellent internet reception.

The toilets are clean, and otherwise there’s all the usual unnecessary airport fuss. Lots of luxury shops, but also good restaurants.

There are also plenty of spacious waiting areas with charging facilities. Not every airport can offer that yet.

Nevertheless, even the extended wait cannot dampen my positive mood. I have sufficient food and beverages, and I am well-rested, having slept on the bus and plane. Time is passing relatively quickly thanks to several audiobooks, and soon I will be on the next plane to Hamburg.

Despite this, I am looking forward to my own bed.
