Meine erste Übernachtung in Japan, der Flug war gut aber lang. Sehr lang. Die Einreise nach Japan ist wirklich sehr einfach. Als deutscher braucht man kein Visum, nur einen gültigen Reisepass. Am Zoll/Einreise geht es dank Online Check-In sehr schnell. Insgesamt wird man dreimal kontrolliert und dann ist man irgendwie plötzlich im Land der aufgehenden Sonne.

Nach kurzer Fahrt mit der Monorail (wer die Simpsons kennt wird jetzt sicherlich grinsen) und ein paar Minuten zu Fuß, war ich endlich da! Meine erste Unterkunft auf Okinawa. Ich war so kaputt. Leider hatte ich auch Hunger. Deswegen suchte ich kurz die Dusche auf und dann ging’s zu Fuß in die Stadt, um was zu essen. Darüber später mehr.

Anschließend fiel ich in tiefen Schlaf in dem bequemen Bett. Insgesamt erinnert mich das Hotel an meine Zeiten als Monteur. Damals war ich oft im Etap Hotel untergebracht. Das Badezimmer besteht quasi aus einem Stück. Aber für mich passt das. Es ist sauber, ruhig und gut gelegen. Das Zimmer hat einen kleinen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher und eine Mikrowelle. Bis auf den Kühlschrank brauchte ich nichts davon.

Im Bad werden natürlich Handtücher, Seife, Shampoo, Conditioner sowie ein Einweg Rasierer und eine Zahnbürste bereit gestellt.

Das Schlafzimmer hat natürlich eine Klimaanlage, ansonsten wäre es bei 38 Grad Außentemperatur wohl auch unerträglich geworden, denke ich.

Es gibt im Internet viele schlechte Bewertungen, die ich nicht verstehe. Es ist ein sehr günstiges Hotel und wer da Luxus erwartet, lebt hinter dem Mond. Fakt ist: es ist sauber, die Rezeption freundlich, die Dusche schön heiß und der Kühlschrank macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Das beste ist das Bett, schön hart und vor allem ist es ruhig.

Für mich perfekt, zu Fuß kann man super die Stadt erkunden und die Monorail Haltestelle ist nur 350 Meter entfernt.

Das WLAN ist stabil und relativ schnell. Neben der Lobby gibt es auch noch Münzwaschmaschinen, was sehr praktisch ist!

Das Hotel ist perfekt für Leute, die keinen Luxus brauchen und gerne abends losziehen wollen. Die zentrale Lage und der schnelle Transfer zum Flughafen sind für mich ausschlaggebend gewesen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann das Livemax Hotel nur empfehlen. Verpflegen muss man sich selbst, was für mich als Tourist nur Vorteile hat.

My first overnight stay in Japan, the flight was good but long. Very long. Entering Japan is really very easy. As a German, you don’t need a visa, just a valid passport. Thanks to online check-in, customs/entry is very quick. You are checked three times in total and then somehow you are suddenly in the land of the rising sun.

After a short ride on the monorail (anyone familiar with the Simpsons will surely be grinning by now) and a few minutes‘ walk, I was finally there! My first accommodation on Okinawa. I was so exhausted. Unfortunately, I was also hungry. So I took a quick shower and then walked into town to get something to eat. More about that later.

Afterwards, I fell into a deep sleep in the comfortable bed. Overall, the hotel reminded me of my days as a mechanic. I often stayed at the Etap Hotel back then. The bathroom is practically one piece. But that suits me. It’s clean, quiet and well located. The room has a small fridge, a kettle and a microwave. Apart from the fridge, I didn’t need any of this.

Towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and a disposable razor and toothbrush are of course provided in the bathroom.

Obviously the bedroom has air conditioning, otherwise it would have been unbearable at 38 degrees outside, I think.

There are many bad reviews on the internet, which I don’t understand. It’s a very cheap hotel and anyone who expects luxury is living behind the moon. The fact is: it’s clean, the reception is friendly, the shower is nice and hot and the fridge lives up to its name. The best thing is the bed, nice and hard and above all it’s quiet.

It was perfect for me, you can explore the city on foot and the monorail stop is only 350 meters away.

The Wi-Fi is stable and relatively fast. Next to the lobby there are also coin-operated washing machines, which is very practical!

The hotel is perfect for people who don’t need luxury and want to go out in the evening. The central location and the quick transfer to the airport were decisive factors for me. I am very satisfied and can only recommend the Livemax Hotel. You have to cater for yourself, which only has advantages for me as a tourist.
