Diesen Scooter habe ich letztens testen dürfen. Bisher hatte ich immer Suex Scooter, die natürlich schon ziemlich gut sind. Allerdings auch relativ teuer. Dieser hier ist mit 2800 Euro schon ordentlich günstiger, aber hat man damit auch Spaß? Ich habe den Spanier mal etwas unter die Lupe genommen.
Zuerst fällt einem auf, das man den Scooter einfach in jedes Auto bekommt, da er mit 495 mm Länge und mit maximalen 400 mm im Durchmesser schon ziemlich kompakt gebaut ist und nur 12,7 kg wiegt. Das ist schonmal nicht schlecht, wenn man damit reisen will oder ein kleines Auto hat.
Was super praktisch ist, das man den Scooter erweitern und verkleinern kann, indem man sich andere Akkus kauft. Dadurch variieren natürlich auch die Geschwindigkeit und die Laufdauer, der TEK24 läuft bis zu 205 Minuten, was wirklich anständig ist. Bei Vollgas sind es immerhin noch satte 120 Minuten. Mehr als ausreichend.
Der Griff ist so konzipiert, das man ihn zum Transport abklappen kann, unter Wasser kann man ihn als Linkshänder und Rechtshänder nutzen kann, da der Griff durchgängig ist, allerdings ist der Gashebel nur rechts, das wäre schön, wenn man ihn zumindest um montieren könnte. Es soll ja mehr als 5 Linkshänder auf der Welt geben.
Hinstellen konnte mein Gerät nicht, da die Propeller Schraube leider etwas übersteht. Ich denke das sowas noch behoben wird. Dazu müsste man die Schraube ja nur flacher konzipieren.
Den Scooter mit seinem 528 Wh Lithium Akku kann man ohne den Scooter zu öffnen in nur 7 Stunden laden. Dazu muss man nur eine Verschlußschraube entfernen. Die Akku Anzeige ist jederzeit gut ablesbar, natürlich auch Unterwasser. Den Propeller kann man auch sehr einfach austauschen/ abnehmen.
Laut Website soll der Scooter angeblich neutral tariert sein, meiner lag schon etwas negativ im Wasser, allerdings im Süßwasser. Wahrscheinlich ist er dann im Meer perfekt tariert.
Die Geschwindigkeit (es gibt zwei Stufen) unter Wasser war ok, gegen den Suex hat er leider keine Chance. Ich hatte einen Freund mit, der den Suex auf ca 3/4 runterregeln musste. Aber das war auch zu erwarten. Er hatte mit mir aber auch einiges zu schleppen. Ich hatte an diesem Tag ein Doppel-12 auf dem Rücken und meinen Trocki an. Ich hatte also ordentlich Gewicht und Wasserwiederstand zu bieten. Der Suex hatte nur ein Mono Gerät zu ziehen. Beide Taucher sind etwa gleich groß und schwer gewesen.
Fazit: ein schön kleiner Scooter, der ordentlich verarbeitet ist und Spaß macht. Er könnte ein kleines bisschen schneller sein dann wäre er perfekt. Preislich absolut ok! Empfehlung? Ja, definitiv, da man den Scooter auch upgraden kann, wenn man einen größeren Akku kauft.

There are a few minor details that could be improved. On my test unit, for example, the propeller screw protruded slightly, preventing the scooter from standing perfectly upright. However, this is a minor issue rather than a serious criticism.

The DiverTug TEK24 is a surprisingly capable and thoughtfully designed DPV. While it may not deliver the same performance as much more expensive premium scooters, it also comes at a significantly lower price.
